My family took advantage of the end of summer with a road trip to Montreal. We did a home exchange, an amazing experience which I will be writing more about!
With more than twenty hours in the car, endless walking, and changing temperatures, comfort was queen.
For the first few days, I tried to get away with walking the streets in a cute dress and sandals, but I quickly realized that walking miles in anything less than the most comfortable clothes was pointless. So I switched to sneakers which I was able to effortlessly pull off with my prAna Transform Capri (with the forgiving high waist) and the lightweight, long sleeve Prairie Grove Sweater, perfect for the in-between weather here.
I’m also obsessed with the miles and miles of protected bike lanes in Montreal and a dress just isn’t practical for riding. So these capris were perfect for renting a “Bixi Bike” and cycling all across this beautiful city.
